This session will include discussion of compassion and connection during the busy holiday season, led by BJW mindfulness trainers Sue Mason and Sergeant Tony Matthews of the Jackson Police Department. Having completed department-wide mindfulness training with Becoming Jackson Whole, Sergeant Matthews serves as the department’s trainer for new personnel.

NEW! BJW will offer an opportunity for extended practice from 10-10:30am, following this session, for anyone interested in a longer practice experience.

Learn practical ways to integrate mindfulness practice into your daily life, improving well-being and mental fitness at work, home, and play.

• A look at mindfulness science around a common challenge—navigating burn-out for example

• How-to tips and micro-practices you can use at home and work
