Sara has more than 20 years of experience in collaborative problem solving, organizational leadership, and authentic communication. She is a trained and certified mediator and a strong believer in the practice of mindfulness at home, in the workplace, and around the community. A native of Shell, Wyoming, graduate of University of Wyoming, and former mayor of Jackson Hole, she is passionate about and deeply connected to her home state and the wellbeing of its economy, its wildlife, and her fellow citizens.
Sara is an avid skier and yogi, an enthusiastic mountain biker, and a terrible fisher. She loves being outside with her family – husband Bill Wotkyns, sons Pete and Silas, who despite being teenagers are really great company. Hiking with friends or her dogs, reading, talking neuroscience, and anything that makes her laugh out loud and favorite activities. She is currently working on her first book on civility and compassion as building blocks for thriving communities.
Dan Baker currently serves as Chairman of Tate Engineering Systems, an industrial equipment service provider in the mid-Atlantic area. He serves on the advisory board of the R G Group, an industrial supplier of fluid and motion control devices, in York, PA, as well as Brenton Communities, an owner/operator of manufactured home communities in Iowa.
Dan served on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank from 1993-1999, including two as Chairman. He has served as a director and chairman of several non-profit organizations including St. Paul’s School, Baltimore, MD, Normative Services, Inc., Sheridan, WY, Pride of Baltimore, Inc., Baltimore International Visitors Center, and the Washington-Baltimore Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization. Mr. Baker is a graduate of Hobart College, Geneva, NY, Bachelors of Arts, ’72 majoring in History and Education. Before entering business, he was a 9th grade history teacher and has retained a life-long interest in education.
Jimmy is the rector of St. John’s in Jackson. Before moving to Jackson, he was the founder and priest at Thad’s, an emergent, fresh expression Episcopal Church in Santa Monica, California. He has also served as the Campus Missioner at the University of Texas in Austin, at All Saints’ in Austin, Texas and All Saints’ Parish in Beverly Hills, California. He is a graduate the University of Texas at Austin and Virginia Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, and in years past has worked with Red Bull High Performance teaching athletes spiritual disciplines, with Naval Special Warfare working to create systems for character development within special operations teams, and was a speaker at TEDx, Venice Beach. Married to Cindy and dad to Jas (17) and Jade (12), the Bartz family loves to spend time outside mountaineering, skiing, fly-fishing, hunting and surfing. Jimmy is currently writing a book on the spirituality of risk.
